Throughout the winter months Ruka also operates a ski bus from Oulu to Ruka leaving Oulu at 7:45 am and costing 35€ for a return trip. The return bus leaves Ruka at 17.00. Buses To Ruka From Rovaniemi

Rovaniemi is 125 miles from Ruka and Kuusamo, roughly a 3 hour drive.

There are no direct buses from Rovaniemi, instead you will have to take a bus to Oulu and then to Ruka. Most journeys take between 6 and 9 hours and cost 90 – 130€ adult return, 53 – 72€ child return.
