Ruka Is Not Just A Ski Resort

In the summer months Ruka‘s slopes fill with grass and reindeer, and the lakes, rivers and forests all open up providing a summer wilderness playground. Hiking and mountain biking trails appear as the snow melts and Ruka becomes a hub for visiting the great outdoors.

During June and July the sun never sets and we have 24 hours of day light.  The temperature over summer is often in the 20′s.
